Domestic Violence
Domestic violence is a pattern of violent or dominant behaviors used by a partner to gain control of a relationship, and it goes far beyond physical injury.  Anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse – it doesn’t discriminate.  It doesn’t take into account your age, your gender, or your race.  It doesn’t matter how much money you have.  It doesn’t matter how well educated you are.

A Safe Place:
provides 24 hour crisis phone line, emergency shelter, legal advocacy, support groups and educational programs.  A Safe Place is there for those who feel alone.  Services are free and confidential.  If you need someone to talk to or would like more information about domestic abuse, contact A Safe Place, they accept collect calls.  For those who believe they could never escape, or those who simply need someone to talk to about their situation.
