Independence Day Events- Saturday, June 24th
The Town of Hampstead will be holding their annual Independence day Celebration on Saturday, June 24th.
Events will take place throughout the day in the field behind the Town Offices (11 Main Street).
Fireworks are scheduled to go off at dusk to close the event.
Don't forget to Ring in the 4th of July. Ringing of the Paul Revere Jr. Bell located in the Old Meeting House (20 Emerson Avenue) begins at Midnight (July 3rd heading into July 4th). All are welcome. Check out their Facebook page for further information.

This day is full of special events, food, games, and awards. Ending with a fabulous display of fireworks
This year’s BBQ competition feature 15 pit masters competing to be the best in pulled pork and brisket.
Buy a sampler to test and vote for the Top Pit Master. All BBQ is accompanied by mac & Cheese, beans, and Cole slaw.
So, get a jump on the 4th of July celebration by joining us and celebrating. Any & all profits benefit the
Hampstead Civic Club scholarship fund, civic club sponsored kid’s sports, organizations, events.
*** Please note that parking in Saint Anne’s Church is NOT available until 5:00 PM.***
Schedule of Events:
- 12:00 Craft Fair Begins; Come support our various crafters selling all handmade items
- 3:00 PM Food opens & Kids games! Frog Jump followed by potato sack race and water balloon toss
- 5:00 PM Music and Games.
- Come try your luck dunking some of Hampstead's finest, take a swing at miniature golf, ski ball and much more!
- 5:30 People’s Choice Awards: Sampler platter available for $5
- 6:45 National Anthem
- 7:00 Presentation of Scholarship Winners
- 7:15 BBQ Competition Awards
- Music, games until Fireworks begin. Fireworks will begin after 9.
